Good Vs Evil

This is my entry for the Wacom contest: Good vs Evil. I know I don't have a chance at winning anythig because there are so many great artists participating in this (and why not, have you seen the prizes?). But I see this more as a tribute to my tablet ^^, I have an Intuos 3 and that thing is my best friend, I love my tablet so I simply had to participate.

And I know angels and wings and the whole blahblah is by far not the most original idea one can have for a theme like this, but I went over a lot of ideas and this one simply felt the best. So why not go for it?

I wanted to portray the moment where good conquers evil, as it always will, but the need to exterminate evil will make the good cross over and do something that would be classified as evil.

I also wanted to show that there is no absolute boundary between good and evil, like there is no pure black or white: there is only gray. Therefore I made it so that without the colours or context you would think that left is evil and right is good, in fact it's the other way around but good has a hint of evil and evil has a hint of good.

I hope you people enjoy this drawing, because I do as well and I believe I've made a great deal of progress with this drawing.
